As we once again

honor and celebrate our Veterans and War Dogs

by walking in the

22nd Annual Long Beach Veterans Day Parade,

“A Salute To Those Who Served”

Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at 10 AM.

You are invited to march with or without your dog to help us honor and appreciate the Veterans and Canines who have fought so bravely to give us our freedom. Well behaved and licensed dogs are welcome to join us, keeping in mind that there are loud bands, cheerleaders and horses. Consider if your dog might be disturbed by the noise.

We would like to invite volunteers to walk with shelter dogs that are up for adoption, and other pet advocacy, rescue, and foster groups to walk, with or without animals. We are willing to make a banner that some of these dogs need homes and are up for adoption. Please let us know if you would like to join us, so we can be appropriately prepared. You may call or text Deborah Turner: (562) 881-5156.

The parade starts promptly at 10:00 AM. Find our group by going to the Parade Formation Area, on Atlantic Avenue between 55th Street and South Street, and looking in the line-up for the bright blue truck, with red, white and blue balloons. We have limited space to ride in the truck for those that want to join us and are unable to walk the parade route.
