On your mark – ready your calendars – and get set to go. Join friends of Long Beach Animals 10-10-2010 for the annual fundraising WALK & RUN for the Animals at Marina Green. October is also the month to celebrate Hispanic Heritage, Blind Awareness, Fire Prevention, and Global Arts. Pet and people life safety is the focus – rallying community support on all fronts to help promote responsible pet ownership behavior.

Our goal is raising $100,000 by 10-10-2010. What is yours?

Enjoy canine demonstrations, arts, entertainment, costume contests, and more -- with sponsorship and volunteer opportunities galore.

Registration includes a doggie bag and t-shirt while supplies last.

• Pick a pet, person, team, mascot, or school to sponsor on-line. Choose your favorite(s) and help them win the top prize.
• Register for the walk on-line or in person
• Run with Friends of Long Beach Animals

• You can also create your very own ‘Friends’ fundraising page -- complete with a picture and your own personal message
• Recruit event sponsors – or become one
